According to the Saint Paul School District 2006’ data:

Although Asian American students (of whom the majority is Hmong) have the highest attendance rate, they fall sharply behind their Caucasian counterparts in graduation rate; their reading index rate is way too low: English proficiency being the determining factor of academic success.

HYES is committed and dedicated to make a difference by providing tutoring and mentoring to Hmong students. Nothing is too small to neglect or too big to handle; together, we can certainly contribute to a brighter tomorrow for all. The above chart is the thermometer; please consider becoming the thermostat, and raise the bar of success to where it is meant to be: excellence.
