Hmong YES offers five inter-related educational programs with a track record of helping Hmong youth achieve educational and social success and assisting their parents to learn how to work with American school systems so they will encourage their children to value education and succeed in school. These five programs are (1) the Home Tutor Program (HTP) which utilizes bi-lingual Hmong college students who provide tutoring services to youth in their homes and literacy activities for their families, (2) the Hmong Youth Mentoring Project (HYMP) which provides Hmong youth at risk of delinquent behaviors with academic tutoring, career counseling, career mentors, and individual support, (3) Teen Leadership (TL) which involves youth in community activities as another means of preventing teen pregnancy and engagement in delinquency, (4) Touching Technology (TT) which gives Hmong youth access to computers, software, and the Internet so they can learn outside the classroom and compete with more economically advantaged youth who have these resources at home, and (5) Summer Reading Camp (SRC) which provides activities to improve reading skills between school terms.

"Our mission is to nurture and develop successful Hmong youth through education programs"
